“Internet Exchange Association of Georgia” is a non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entity based on the membership of persons, in accordance with the Civil Code of Georgia.
The purpose of foundation of the Geo-IX is the direct exchange of Internet traffic between different Internet networks of Georgia without the use of third party networks, which is important to improve and increase the quality of the Internet in Georgia, as well as to increase local content and service quality and increase competition.
